A glimpse of the most anticipated F1 test in many years. All 10 teams arrived to fire up their 2022 campaigns for the first time on the east coast of Spain.

The venue was the 4.65-kilometre Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in Montmeló. And the equipment inside the transporters reflected many thousands of hours of engineering and development in factories across Europe.

Stephen Hewett was on the ground in Barcelona, and he captured some of the big rigs in the paddock.
