Brad Jones Racing’s partnership with Freightliner Australia came to an end earlier this year, but the team is set to stick with Daimler prime movers to start the 2022 Repco Supercars Championship season.

The Albury-based outfit will put two Adaptalift Mercedes-Benz Actros trucks to work to pull its B-Double race trailer sets until at least mid-April this year.

That means Mercedes-Benz truck fans will get to see the Actros pair from Albury at the first three events of the year, which will include trips to Sydney Motorsport Park, Symmons Plains and Albert Park. They’ll also be at the official Supercars test day for Victorian teams at Winton Motor Raceway next week.

The big ‘Benz prime movers are both powered by Euro-6 compliant 16-litre Mercedes-Benz motors rated at 580 horsepower.

The Mercedes-Benz prime movers will be steered by two Brad Jones Racing veterans this year, with the ever-popular Paul Eddy set to be joined by Simon Odewahn (Sao), who is returning to the Albury squad following a four-and-a-half-year stint starting back in 2010.

You can follow the Actros pair’s travels on Facebook and Instagram, and Brad Jones Racing is on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
